Guard Your Heart

Guard Your Heart

Matthew 7:13-14

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

Today’s Devotional
When we don’t guard our hearts we allow offense, bitterness and pride to take over. The way to guard our heart is to make our eyes, ears and mouth the gate and make sure evil doesn’t pass the gate. By guarding our heart from the world we make room for heavenly things.

Prayer
Jesus give me the wisdom to guard my heart everyday. The enemy is strong and cunning but you are greater and stronger. I refuse to allow offense to overtake my heart and hand all my issues over to you, in Jesus name, Amen.
